Dera came to Konbit looking for a 30,000 HTG (about $400 USD) loan to help him build his liquid soap business. Dera produces liquid laundry soap in 55 gallon drums and refills old discarded drink bottles. (Our main series photo is his business product prior to his loan.) He wants to make his business more professional by purchasing bottles and labels, adding value to his product. Dera learned how to make soap, paint, and perfume in school. After meeting with Dera, it became obvious that he knew his production side well, as well as his costs and profit.
